Q: Can I just use this as a mat for an 8 x 10 photo and put it in a regular frame? I'm not really sure what these are. What I'm really looking for are Lavender, or any shade or Purple mats to use with 8 x 10 photos.

  A: This can be used as a double mat but the overall size will not fit in a standard frame since the item is 13-1/4 x 10-3/4 x 1/4 inch thick.
