Q: Are the Pioneer albums JPF-46 from the early 1980's photo safe, acid free, etc.? or should the pictures be transferred to the newer albums.

  A: We checked with Pioneer Photo Albums Inc and they do not know for sure since the albums are so old. If you have not seen any yellowing or deterioration of photos yet, they probably are safe for the future.
