Q: If the picture opening is only 3 3/4" W & 4 3/4" H, how can this hold a 4x5 photo?? I am actually planning on framing 4x5 cards without any room for cutting them down.

  A: That is referring to the viewable portion of the 4x5 print. The frame blocks 1/4 inch vertically and horizontally on the image.
