Q: How deep is the frame (rabbet depth?) Can I frame a photo with a foam core backing all -ready attached to the photo? In other words will the glass, matt board, foam core backing and frame backing still fit in the frame?
Answered by Anthony, August 24, 2016 at 09:31:45 AM EDT.
A: The rabbet depth is about 3/16 of an inch.

Q: Is the frame actually solid wood? The last frames I ordered elsewhere said they were wood but they were MDF and the surface veneer chips off very easily.
Answered by Anthony, August 29, 2017 at 12:01:26 PM EDT.
A: The Gallery flat top frames are made of real solid wood.

Q: Is it possible to add wire to the back? I'll be doing a show and they require a wired back to clip into for their hanging system.
Answered by Anthony, March 8, 2019 at 09:18:56 AM EST.
A: As noted in the description it comes ready for wall mounting using D rings and is not to be hung with wire.

Q: I know in another answer here, you verify that this frame is real wood, but in the 1-star review with photo of broken frame, it looks like press-board inside. Can you verify for sure that these frames are made out of actual whole pieces of lumber, not ground-up glued together powder? I don't want to spend the time and $$ to find out you were wrong. Thank you!
