Q: Hi, I am concerned about off-gassing: do these frames contain Formaldehyde? And is the "glass" actual glass, or is it plastic? Thanks!

A: As per the manufacturer, these frames do not contain Formaldehyde in them. That concern has to do more with the wood frames but all of the MCS frames are C.A.R.B. compliant, This items also have a glass front, they are not plexi.

Q: My question is about mats...says the frame will accept only "thin paper mats"...Can you expand on what that means? It sounds as though there is only space for the printed art work (I'm doing photos on a medium weight paper)

A: The mats that can be used in here would be about the thickness of a sheet of paper, they are really not intended to be used with a mat at all.
