Q: Wondering if the 12x12 pages and protectors you sell will fit in my creative memories albums? My albums have a hinge strap....

A: The refill pages for this album fit most 2 hole post, 3-ring or strap style scrapbooks including Webway, Creative Memories and others.

Q: Wrap around spine means? Am looking for spine that slides into front and back covers - no flimsy holes to fit inside album covers - have always used memorystor but unable to get any longer so looking to switch to pioneer if proper spine - have gotten taken often when ordering as to getting incorrect spines.

A: A wrap around spine means that the front cover, the spine cover and the back cover are one piece. It cannot be expanded like many of the post bound albums that are made by Pioneer.

Q: Another "wrap-around spine" question. If, as in Anthony's earlier answer, the spine on these leather albums are attached to the covers and cannot be expanded, why does the product description read: "Reinforced screwpost binding allows pages to lie flat and accepts unlimited 12x12 Refill Pages"? Are there photos available of the spine at different angles please? Does this product come in brown? Thanks.

A: This album offers an expanding wrap around spine which will let you get to about 2 inches in thickness before you would need to remove the material covering the spine to add more pages. A wrap around spine does not give you that option which was what I was referring to earlier. Sorry, Pioneer does not sell this item is brown as of now, hopefully in the future.

Q: Thank you so much Andrew--I understand about the expanding wrap. 2" is exactly what I need; anything fatter is too unwieldy. One final question before I order 5 albums, is there any other benefit to snap-loading versus post-binding, or the reverse, except for the actual mechanics of closure? I've tried snap-loading and wonder if the insecurity of the spine (it wobbles and torques a little) is because of the plastic strap, and if posts would prevent some of that wobbling.

A: It really comes down to personal preference. The advantage of the snapload is that it eliminates the screws and makes adding or removing pages a lot faster and less labor intensive. I have not hear of anyone having a problem with the snapload but I could see it bending a bit as you stated since it is plastic.

Q: Can these albums be ordered with black pages instead of white pages?
Answered by Anthony, September 28, 2015 at 03:51:45 PM EDT.
A: These albums come with white pages in them but you can order refill pages by coping and pasting this link and replacing them: http://www.pfile.com/product/k-rmb-5

Q: How far apart are the screws on this album? I am trying to replace an old 12 x 12 album with 2 screws 6" apart. Will this ablum work?
