  A: This frame has 2 triangular pieces on the back for you to use to hand from a nail or hook. There is one for a vertical presentation and one for a horizontal presentation.

Q: How deep is the rabbet on this frame? Is the glass tempered?

  A: The rabbet is about a half inch. This has standard glass, it is not tempered.

  A: The 5/8th measurement is the depth of the frame from the wall to the front of the frame.
  
  The rail is the size of the front of the frame that you are seeing when it is on the wall.
