Q: Are these hinged and open from the front or do you have to put the display in from the back?

  A: The items you are putting into this frame would be placed in from the back.

Q: Is the back of the frame flat, or is it hollow/indented (like a canvas picture?) I'm looking for a frame that can cover a breaker box that slight sticks out of my wall.

  A: There is a small amount of space between the backing and the end of the frame, about 2/16ths of an inch.

Q: I need to know if this shadow box is deep enough to hold medals(soccer tournament). I will be glueing them to the back of the frame. what is its depth ?
